Nora doing what Nora does best. Great characters, semi-believable situations, interesting central theme/thread.
MacLeod Andrews' narration was a bit rough on the older ladies' voices and hard to listen to on the children's voices.
It almost kept me from listening to the following volumes. But I figured the children would be less omnipresent and I was right.
I persevered and I was glad.
This was the weakest of the trilogy, but it is a nice foundation for the other two books.
